NSI RFP Standard Template
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
When the NASPL Verification Logo, along with this label, is used on, or in relation to, a Request for Proposal document registered as conformant to this Conformance Requirements Document, it must be accompanied by an attribution in the form defined in Schedule 4 of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries Verification Trademark License Agreement.
This Conformance Requirements document is for Request for Proposal documents to be issued by a Lottery organization.
The Conformance Requirements are derived from the NSI Standard Request for Proposal Template Best Practice, Document Number BP0501b, April 2007, and any Corrigenda issued against such Best Practice.
A conformant Request for Proposal document must:
Appendix A of the Best Practice provides a checklist of the mandatory, recommended, and precluded requirements. This Appendix should be considered normative with respect to the assigned Practitioner for each requirement, but in the case of any conflict between the content of the checklist and the main body of the Best Practice, the Best Practice shall take precedence.
If the lottery issues the RFP in a language other than English, the lottery must create an English-language version of the RFP that is an accurate translation to the original RFP - i.e., it provides an identical meaning.
As this is the first version of the NSI RFP Standard Template Conformance Requirements, there are no migration issues.
