Verification Fee Schedule

1. Verification Logo Licensing Fee

There is currently no license fee associated with use of the NSI Verification Logo.

2. Core Retailer Web-Based Applications Verification Fees

Refer to Section 5 of the NSI Policy Supplement for Core Retailer Web-Based Applications Certification/Verification for fee applicability.

Verification Fee for Lottery Retailer-Focused Website	$6,000	Upon registration to verify a Lottery Retailer-Focused Website.
Amendment Fee	$400	Upon execution of any amendment to verification information as per Section 5.2 of the NSI Policy Supplement for Core Retailer Web-Based Applications Certification/Verification.

3. Management of Instant Tickets Certification Fees

Refer to Section 4 of the NSI Policy Supplement for Management of Instant Tickets Certification/Verification for fee applicability.

Certification Fee for: Bar Codes on Instant Tickets and Instant Ticket Packs for Lotteries MIT XML Based Messaging for Lotteries	$2,000	Upon registration to certify an lottery's practice of including bar codes on instant tickets and instant ticket packs or practice of managing instant ticket inventory via XML based messages. This fee also applies to any derivative practices classified as requiring a "new certification", as per Section 4.3 of the NSI Policy Supplement for Management of Instant Tickets Certification/Verification.
Re-certification Fee for: Bar Codes on Instant Tickets and Instant Ticket Packs for Lotteries MIT XML Based Messaging for Lotteries	$2,000	Upon registration to update a certification to reflect a material change, as per Section 4.1 of the NSI Policy Supplement for Management of Instant Tickets Certification/Verification.
Amendment Fee	$400	Upon execution of any amendment to certification information as per Sections 4.2 of the NSI Policy Supplement for Management of Instant Tickets Certification/Verification.

4. Quality Assurance Best Practice Verification Fees

Refer to Section 5 of the NSI Policy Supplement for QA Best Practices Verification for applicability of the Amendment Fee.

Verification Fee for 1 Best Practice	$6,000	Upon registration to verify a business practice against one QA Conformance Requirements Document.
Verification Fee for 2 Concurrent QA Best Practice Verifications *	$12,000	Upon registration to concurrently verify your product development business practice against two QA Conformance Requirements Documents.
Renewal Fee - per Best Practice area	$6,000	Upon registration to renew the verification of a business practice against one QA Conformance Requirements Document.
Amendment Fee	$400	Upon execution of a change in Business Practice Management, Business Practice Location, Reduction in Optional Requirements Supported by the Verified Practice, Administrative changes, or any other amendment to a business practice's verification information.

* Your organization must meet all of the following conditions in order to qualify for this fee:

Your organization must register for verification against each Quality Assurance Conformance Requirements document separately within the NSI web-based certification/verification system.
The registrations must occur within 4 calendar days of each other. Specifically, the second registration must be entered into the NSI web-based certification/verification system by the end of the 4^th calendar day following the initial registration.
During the registration process, your organization must express its intent for these two registrations to be considered as registered together.
The registrations must specify the same Business Practice Location. The assessment process will thus be carried out at this location, at the same time for both verifications.

If your organization qualifies for concurrent verification, your first registration will be charged the standard verification fee and your second registration will be charged the remainder of the concurrent verification fee. The Open Group will collect a single payment for the two concurrent verifications.

5. Request for Proposal (RFP) Verification Fees

6. XML Retail Accounting Reports Verification Fees

Refer to Section 5 of the NSI Policy Supplement for XML Retail Accounting Reports Certification/Verification for fee applicability.

Verification Fee for Report Producing Application	$8,500	Upon registration to verify a technology as a Report Producing Application. This fee also applies to any technology derived from a verified Report Producing Application and classified as requiring a "new verification", as per Sections 5.3 and 5.4 of the NSI Policy Supplement for XML Retail Accounting Reports Certification/Verification.
Amendment Fee	$400	Upon execution of any amendment to verification information as per Sections 5.2 and 5.5 of the NSI Policy Supplement for XML Retail Accounting Reports Certification/Verification.

Payment Terms

The fees are due at the time of registration for verification, renewal, verification update, or execution of an amendment and are payable in US dollars within 30 days of such registration, renewal, update, or amendment. All fees are quoted net of applicable taxes and duties which, where appropriate, will be payable in addition by the Organization to The Open Group, as the NSI Certification and Verification Authority (or to the relevant tax authorities as applicable). The Open Group reserves the right to amend this fee schedule from time to time and will give notice of such change at least 30 days prior.
