The Open Group Security Forum is a trusted, collaborative environment for experts from both the customer and supply sides of industry, government, and academia, who share a common goal to manage and reduce IT-related risks, secure the IT environment, and raise confidence levels in business IT operations.

The Open Group Security Forum provides a vendor-neutral environment where members can obtain relevant knowledge, exert influence, grow professionally and network with a world-class community of experts and peers. Members share knowledge and experience to define requirements, and lead the development of open standards and best practices in security architecture and information security management. Our scope includes providing guidance for managing security risk and for creating effective security architectures, and developing technical security standards.
