ArchiMate® Forum

Objective of Meeting

The aim of the meeting was to follow up on the progress of the work of the ArchiMate Forum and define a roadmap for the ArchiMate standard evolution process. Also to discuss other relevant issues for the Forum.

Summary

Henry Franken, the Forum Chair, welcomed attendees to the meeting, especially the new members from APG.

The agenda was reviewed and agreed and also the open actions and consent items from the previous meeting (London 2014).

The status and roadmap of different projects were presented and actions that would support their development were defined and assigned.

A detailed report about the project that is leading the evolution of the standard was presented and the working plan was reviewed.

Important issues, such as the OMG collaboration and the UML profile for the ArchiMate language, were discussed and proper actions were defined.

The ArchiMate marketing actions and certifications numbers were presented and discussed and specific actions were defined to improve the standard usage and certification numbers.

Specific actions that have to be planned for the next event in Madrid to support the different projects were also defined.

Next Steps

A two-week consensus check on the decisions made will occur after the meeting. The Forum is scheduled to next meet in Madrid during the week commencing April 20, 2015. Logistics for the meeting will be available in the ArchiMate Forum calendar.
