The OBOE Partners
The OBOE team includes Schlumberger Geco-Prakla (Geco), Prism Technologies,
Heinz Nixdorf Institute (HNI), SINTEF, University of Frankfurt (UniF),
LogOn Technology, and The Open Group. This combines the user organisation,
technology supplier and related, complementary expertise in modelling, legacy
system integration, standards and conformance testing.
OBOE will be built on existing technology from two suppliers.
This is expedient, cost-effective and provides a clear
exploitation path for the project results. OBOE will:
- Assist user organisation Geco to increase
competitive advantage and achieve faster time to market
for new services;
- Bring forward the implementation of
Business Object Facilities from technology supplier
Prism;
- Bring forward the practical availability
of standards-compliant object technology at the Business
Object level.
- Assist OMG and The Open Group in their
respective standardisation goals.
Background information on each of the partners, detailing their areas of
expertise and their role in OBOE, is provided in separate partner pages, as
well as providing links to their own web sites.
