X.400 Message Access

Category: Interworking [GM]

This Product Standard defines the construction of X.400 messaging systems (for example, electronic mail) by making the services of a message transfer system (MTS) available to portable applications implementing either a user agent (UA) or message store (MS). Usage is not restricted to electronic mail nor to X.400 OSI networks.
