This document is a guide for Certification Board Members
on how to navigate within The Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA) Program web system for the purpose of obtaining a Candidate's Certification
Package and inputting the evaluation of a Candidate.
3. Registration
3.1 Accessing the Web Certification System
The Certification Authority provides a web system through which
Board Members obtain a Candidate Certification Package
and input the Evaluation feedback for a Candidate.
This is a workflow system that will guide you through the necessary steps
for performing an Evaluation of a Candidate. The entry point to the system
is at https://www.opengroup.org/openca/cert/ (this is a secure server).
3.2 Prerequisites
To log into the web system you need a valid username and password on the Certification Authority's web server.
If you don't yet have an account, this account will be created
by The Open Group when they assigned you to a Certification Board.
Once you have your username, from the secure web site, select "Login".
3.3 Accessing Certification Board Member Information
When you have been accepted as a Board Member and assigned to a Board
an additional pane appears on your login page as below:
Selecting the link you are then taking to a page that summarizes
your Boards, for example:
Selecting the Board Title, then gives you more information
on the Board:
To obtain the Candidate's Certification Package and other information
about the submission select the Candidates Name link.
3.3 Accessing Candidate Information for a Certification Board
Selecting the link on a Candidate's Name as above will display
a Candidate Page as follows, in this particular case the view is
for Board Member #2:

Status: Submitted

Board Review
There are three evaluation reports to be completed, one for
each Board Member, including the Board Chair
Before all members have submitted the report, the synopsis view shows a summary of saved/submitted reports for each member so far
Once all reports has been submitted, the synopsis view also allows comments
and review results to be edited/submitted. Members can input review comments, while only the Chair can submit the result
The Board Review (Chair) needs to be created and submitted.
The Board Review (Member #1) needs to be created and submitted.
The Board Review (Member #2) needs to be created and submitted.

3.3.1 Obtaining the Certification Package
Select the link to Certification Package brings up a screen
that allows you to display it:

The Certification Package was uploaded on 01-Oct-2005
The Certification Package was checked OK on 03-Oct-2005

3.4 Inputting Your Evaluation of the Candidate
Select the link as shown below to Create or continue Editing your evaluation
of the Candidate. When you are done you can then Submit the
evaluation.
There are three evaluation reports to be completed, one for
