Certification Fee Schedule For Direct Certification
(effective 15 April 2011)

The fees described below are quoted net of all applicable taxes and duties which, where appropriate, will be payable by the Candidate to the Certification Authority (or to the relevant tax authorities as applicable).

Description	Fees Payable (US $)	Payment Due
Certification Fee (per Candidate for a 3-year certification period)	$1,250	Upon application for certification.
Annual Fee for program participation (per Certified IT Specialist)	$175 per year	Upon each anniversary of certification.
Re-certification Fee (per Certified IT Specialist for a further 3-year period)	$250	Upon application for re-certification.

Notes

Initial certification is valid for a period of 3 years, with re-certification available for additional 3 year periods. During the period in which an individual is certified, annual program participation fees apply. Re-certification is required three years from the prior certification or re-certification date and incurs a re-certification fee that is due in addition to the annual program participation fees.

Fees Payable

Fees are payable in US dollars by credit card at the time of registration for certification, re-certification, or annual program participation fee payment.

Fees are not refundable.

The Open Group reserves the right to change this Fee Schedule without notice.

The Open CITS Accreditation Agreement covers the accreditation fees for an Accredited Certification Program (ACP) and the certification fees for individuals who are to be certified via an ACP.
