I hereby announce the Company Review for the following document

The Open Group Base Specifications Issue 8

with The Open Group Platform Forum as the sponsor of the review.

This Review will commence on December 18th and will close January 31, 2024.

For the benefit of those unfamiliar with The Open Group Standards
Process, a Company Review is a formal process by which The Open Group
measures consensus around a document to become a standard or
a formal certification document.

You are invited to review and submit proposed changes
("Change Requests - CRs") that would make the document acceptable to
you.  Any individual from any member organization is welcome to submit
comments on behalf of their organization.  The sponsor is responsible
for the creation of proposed resolutions for the Change Requests
(CRs).  A formal ballot is distributed to the ballot group to vote on
the acceptance/disposition of the proposed resolutions requests.  For
