ISO and Internet Management: Coexistence and Interworking

This document, which was developed in collaboration with the Network Management Forum (NMF), addresses the issues associated with the need to use both the OSI and Internet management protocols, CMIP and SNMP, within the same environment. It investigates the relative strengths and weaknesses of the two protocols, and offers advice on how they may be used together in a single management system.
