Description
This was a project of The Open Group Board, assisted by the SOA Work Group. It has fulfilled its objective, which was to develop the industry’s first collaborative maturity model for SOA adoption.
As more organizations continue to embrace the use of services as the foundation for their next-generation IT infrastructures, it is increasingly important for them to assess their maturity within a complete SOA migration path and identify how to maximize business benefits from their adoptions. The OSIMM enables them to do this by providing a model and an assessment method.
