We are pleased to announce a joint members meeting of the Security Forum with the Real-Time & Embedded Systems Forum, to be hosted by The Open Group at its office in 44 Montgomery Street, San Francisco.  The meeting starts at 1pm on Monday Nov 16 and closes at 5pm on Weds Nov 18.

For some time now, members in both Forums have been proposing more cross-Forum participation on security issues of mutual interest, and with fewer members able to travel to the Q409 conference in Hong Kong, this represents an opportunity to hold a special Fall-2009 Members Meeting in a place that is more readily accessible to our members, and where we can focus on sharing information and insights on shared security issues.

The agenda for this meeting has been put together in a joint exercise between the leaders of our Security and RTES Forums, to ensure we address issues of common interest, while also making progress on our respective current Forum activities.
