Contribution to the Mission

An SOA Reference Architecture will assist information technology professionals to understand and adopt SOA.

Deliverables

One or more non-vendor-specific reference architectures that describe the various characteristics of a reference SOA environment from an architectural perspective. These architectures would be appropriate for use with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).

Base Document

The base document for the work is the SOA Reference Architecture input by IBM.

Working Procedures

The project will start with a base document, and work by developing deltas to it, including deltas derived by comparing the base with other SOA reference architectures.
