The plenary session of the conference program includes a presentation by David Potter, Chief Technical Officer, Promise Innovation Oy; and Ron Schuldt, Senior Partner, UDEF-IT, LLC, on Big Data: Bringing Order to the Chaos. It describes how QLM and UDEF can help to bring order to the terminology chaos that faces Big Data implementations.

This open meeting will work on the standard for commercial UDEF currently being developed by the UDEF Interested Parties Group and the UDEF project team. The objectives are that, by the end of the meeting:

  • All comments and issues on Sections 1-3 are resolved.
  • The remaining sections are sufficiently well understood that a review draft can be prepared.
  • There is an achievable time plan for approval and publication.
