(Second Afternoon Session)

Objective of Meeting

This session was devoted to RT&ES Forum status updates and discussion, which was led by Glen Logan, Chair of the Forum.

Summary

Glen Logan provided an RT&ES Forum update, by giving the RT&ES Board presentation, which he gave earlier in the day to The Open Group Board of Directors.  The presentation was a summary of the RT&ES Forum vision, mission, upcoming events, and status on each of the major working groups and their deliverables over the past year and projected into the current year and beyond.

Outputs

Discussion, ideas, and actions on how we can realize our goals and how we can attract new members and increase active participation in order to meet all of our deliverables.

Next Steps

• Prepare Rome agenda. Although this will not be a full-blown RTES member meeting, the goal for this meeting will be to increase awareness of the RT&ES Forum in the global community for the purposes of expanding membership and active participation.
• Solidify major topics for and prepare content for webinar in mid-March.
