SOA Work Group

Objective of Meeting

The main objectve of the meeting was to discuss the development of a successor to the Technical Guide for Using TOGAF to Define and Govern Service-Oriented Architectures that was published in 2011.

Summary

The meeting agreed that the main focus of SOA/TOGAF 2.0 work should be to update the SOA/TOGAF Practical Guide to describe use of the next version of TOGAF® for SOA.

Outputs

A liaison officer was appointed to keep the SOA Work Group apprised of developments on the next version of TOGAF.

Next Steps

The SOA Work Group will monitor progress on the next version of TOGAF and undertake development of a new version of the SOA/TOGAF Practical Guide when it feels that it is appropriate to start the work.
