The Quality of Service Taskforce is focused on the propagation of customer<->vendor and vendor<->vendor QoS requirements and measurements in a manner that is quantifiable, observable, and interoperable in a distributed and heterogeneous environment, with the goal of achieving Quality of Service assurance which is acceptable to vendors and customers alike. The current objective of this On-line Forum is to provide an opportunity to all interested constituents to participate in innovative and candid discussion, regarding the creation and use of standard approaches to Service Level Agreements, which are not only used for defining and monitoring service levels, but also to drive dynamic resource management in order to adjust service level provisions according to the standard SLAs.
