The Early Bird registration for The Open Group Toronto 20-24 July 
RTES Forum meeting closes out at COB today (26 June) -- US West Coast.

                             the conference hotel rate of $179 CAD 
(about $158 USD) was still available as
                       of Friday 26 June 0600 hours - Canadian 
Government rate of $149 CAD is available.

As you can see from the recap there will be important decisions made 
on Open Architecture (MOSA) and the Pocket Guide, the interaction of 
the RT Open Architecture Approach (MOSA) to TOGAF and AADL (artifacts 
required to make this approach feasible, the tool chain requirements, 
use of standard APIs), input from the Department of Defense in 
Canada, the software assurance eco system being developed for AFRL, 
the Canadian military and Homeland Security, a Cybersecurity approach 
based on the MILS Architecture to include the potential of a 
commercial evaluation/certification program which could be 
complementary to NIAP etc, approaches to detecting cyber attacks,  an 
in depth MILS meeting including reports from discussions with the 
NSC, NSA, NATO, EDF, EC and NC3A as it relates  to a requirement for 
commercial evaluation/certification program using automated tools , 
Secure Mobile Architecture Working Group for SCADA, Medical Devices 
and ITS, and a RTES Forum members meeting Going Forward, and in 
particular to see if there should USA based future face-to-face 
meetings in the quarters 3 and 4 of CY 2009 in place of the foreign 
travel schedule of meetings.
