Open to Members of The Open Group

Objective of these BoFs

To improve communication and support between the Board and Forums, via Forum Chairs & Vice-Chairs:

• to enable the member-leaders of the Forums to convey the Board's strategic direction for The Open Group to their respective Forum members
• to enable the Board members to receive feedback from the member-leaders of the Forums on issues the Forums have where they feel Board support will help.

Councils Role

These BoF meetings are organized by the Members Councils (Customer Council and Supplier Council) to provide members with the opportunity to share and discuss information relevant to cross-forum interests. They are complementary to the Governing Board's invitations to respective Forum/WG Chairs to present their Forum/WG activities at Governing Board meetings.

  2 or 3 Invited Forums/WGs present on outcomes of actions arising from their previosu meeting with the Governing Board.
• Members Issues and Discussion
  Opportunity for Board Members and Forum/WG members to raise any issues and questions.
