| Trust on The Net The Open Group started work on Trust on the Net in 1998, exploring how its proven technical expertise in interoperability issues might assist and enhance associated work being done in the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) and CommerceNet forums. The ways in which the IT Industry approaches interoperability and retaining or improving trust in the context of migrating business practices onto the net, are all issues which concern Open Group members. This is a broad business-based subject, of particular interest to those working in certain vertical market sectors - Banking, Healthcare and Postal Services are among the first sectors that seek interoperable solutions in this space.
