The Object Management Group (OMG) has selected The Open Group as its partner to implement the Open Brand for CORBA program which was  launched on 27th May 1999 in Tokyo, Japan.

Three companies, Fujitsu, Think One and AT&T Research Laboratories, have all successfully registered products in the brand program. Please see:  http://www.opengroup.org/branding/   for details of the Brand program and registered products.

The Open Brand program is the means by which a vendor guarantees that their product complies with certain requirements, defined by the Product Standard, to the buyer. In this case the conformance requirements are for a product to implement the OMG's CORBA 2.1 specifications.
