Introduction

We provide online access to development test suites based on the those used in the WAP Certification Program. These test suites have a number of features that distinguish them from the test suites used in Certification - in particular, development enhancements to the test engine enabling simpler product debugging.

We have come up with a model that addresses:-

• Individual users with occasional testing needs
• individual user long term access needs
• group (corporate/ team) long term access

In addition to the support/ helpdesk and bug tracking services supplied with the test suites, resources are allocated to the suites to add functionality and coverage to meet customer needs over time.

• On applying for WAP Certification, test engineers can spend their time testing products instead of learning how the system works as the WAP Certification test suites use a similar test engine

Restrictions

These agreements contain some restrictions on what can and cannot be stated. As a result of this, the following restrictions apply:-

• although the test suites are based on The Open Group test suites, you may make no public statements concerning their use or results obtained from them, and in particular cannot make any claim to have "passed" them.
• you accept that only the official WAP Certification test suites maintained by The Open Group may be used for certification.
• you accept that the test suite may contain extensions and modifications beyond the official WAP certification tests.
• you accept that The Open Group makes no claim that the results of using the test suite will be the same as those produced by the official WAP certification test suites.
