Unlike TOGAF 8, you become certified only by taking the examination.
You can find an available accredited training course from the TOGAF 9 Accredited Training register or
selecting this link .
Click on the course name entry and the detailed page should give you a web link to
the company that offers the course.
As part of the package of attending the qualifying course, the training organization will
either provide facilities to take the examination, or provide vouchers to allow you to take it
at one of the approved exam centers. Either way the examination fee is required to be included with the course fee for TOGAF 9 Accredited Training Courses.
You can also self study and take the examinations through Prometric
at any authorized Prometric testing center
around the world. If calling within North America, contact Prometric at
(800) 755-EXAM (755-3926). Outside the United States and Canada, contact
your local Prometric Registration Center.
To register online with Prometric, visit the Prometric Web site at
http://www.prometric.com/OpenGroup.
At the Prometric site you can "Schedule an exam".
Once you pass the examination you must then login to The Open Group web server to
complete your certification.
How long does certification last?
Certification lasts indefinitely. There is no renewal process.
