Changes to VSNETCom Test Suite
This page describes the recent changes made to the Test Suite as a
result of identified Test Suite Definiciencies or Permanent or Temporary
Interpretations issued by The Open Group and its Network Computing Working
Group.
-
20 October 1998: Test Repaired
-
The html3.2/body/text/special/basefont/1 test was updated to ensure it was using the size attribute correctly.
-
14 September 1998: Tests Removed
-
As a result of Permanent Interpretations 1, 2, and 3 the following tests were
removed: html3.2/body/text/special/applet/10, html3.2/body/text/special/img/7,
html3.2/body/text/special/img/9, html3.2/body/block/center/2,
html3.2/body/block/div/4, and html3.2/body/address/1. Also, the test
html3.2/body/text/special/map/area/6 was found to be in error, and was
removed. Finally, a number of typos in assertion text were corrected.
-
20 March 1998: html3.2/body/text/special/applet/11
-
This test had a typo in it that referenced HSPACE instead of VSPACE. This
caused it to appear as if implementations were failing the test when, in fact,
they were not.
-
20 March 1998: html3.2/body/text/special/img/8
-
Improved the test method so that it is less subjective. It should now be
clearer when implementations pass or fail this test.
-
20 March 1998: html3.2/body/text/special/applet/param/2
-
Changed the test output so that it is clearer what the conflict is between
entity values translated by the browser and their expected values within the
Java Applet.
