The Open Group provides testing and certification services for the WAP specifications published by the Open Mobile Alliance™.

WAP 2.0 Certification

Customers may apply to certify their devices as conforming to the WAP 2.0 specification. This certification program is independently developed and provided by The Open Group. 

The Open Group has long experience in running certification programs for various technologies. Our company objective is the practical implementation of open standards   - making these work and aiding interoperability

Testing

Ninety days access to the test suites is made available on submission of a signed WAP Certification Agreement. 

The WAP Certification Agreement must be attached to an Implementation Conformance Statement (ICS), which occurs when you upload your completed ICS from the ICS editor to the certification system.
