[¤2] Customer Information System Building Block Specification

[¤3] Description

[¤4] This system is put in place of the existing paper-based customer information system to support the goal of improving the speed and quality of order closure. It shields the database from the complexity of the many applications looking at it but it contains an architectural break-point which could be used later on to make the database itself accessible to other applications.

[¤5] The interfaces selected must go through an internal approval process modeled on the interface adoption criteria of The Open Group. This means that all specifications must be or become part of the corporate SIB.
