Ramesh Radhakrishnan has been an Enterprise Architect and Consultant at Sun Microsystems for the past 5 years. He conducts Availability and Architecture Assessments and Designs Mission-Critical IT environments for Sun's customers. He is also called by customers to conduct Performance Analysis and Patch Management. He is the author of the Sun Blue Prints Online Articles: "A Patch Management Strategy in the Solaris OE" and "Solaris Operating System and Oracle RDBMS Performance Tuning". Before joining Sun, Ramesh worked as an IT Consultant, ClearCase Consultant and System Administrator in various corporations. He has a Master's degree in Computer Science.

Over the years he has gained in-depth experience in Backup and Recovery and Disaster Recovery Architectures. He has also gained experience in IT Service and Infrastructure Management Processes.

In 2003, Ramesh became a Certified ITIL Master in IT Service Management. He passed the ITIL exams with Distinction. Recently he was part of a team that put together an Architecture Basics course to teach the art of system architecting to new architects. He has also taught the architecture basics class to Sun architects and engineers.
