There are two documents being prepared as a response to the ISO C committee. These were discussed and approved. They will be added to the document register shortly. We discussed the 9945 Project Editor report and Organizational Representative report being submitted for the SC22 plenary. These were discussed and approved with minor edits and will be added to the document register shortly. Andrew had prepared a revised project timeline as part of the reports to SC22. This is available in http://www.opengroup.org/austin/docs/austin_937r1.txt. It was noted that Draft 2 is planned to include new APIs. As such there needs to be progress on getting the new APIs sponsored, drafted, and approved. This is likely to take at least three months. Geoff had prepared a list that was discussed in the meeting. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iFhxfNgE7Cc6NPx5zAxHGi4DihAW3MNgXrksg4NEJic/edit?usp=sharing We discussed a number of those where the bugs hinted that new APIs should be created but no agreement had been reached to do so. Action: Eric to ask the Base Working Group if they will sponsor *_clock*() (bug 1216), strlcpy() etc. (bug 986), dladdr() (bug 993) Richard has a new method for authentication to the Etherpad, that uses The Open Group gitlab authentication. This worked for some users but not all, Andrew will check on GitLab accounts for users having problems. A reminder that the Draft 1 review is now underway and runs until August 25 2020. The draft can be obtained from the login page of the Austin Group at: https://www.opengroup.org/austin/login.html . * Outstanding actions (Please note that this section has been flushed to shorten the minutes - to locate the previous set of outstanding actions, look to the minutes from 13th June 2019 and earlier) Bug 1254: "asynchronous list" description uses "command" instead of "AND-OR list" OPEN https://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1254 Action: Joerg to investigate how his shell behaves.
