2.2 XBD ERNs for discussion

	since modifications to environ dealt elsewhere

Accept as marked (for TC1):

Add a SEE ALSO to the functions that modify the environment
(setenv/putenv) pointing to exec()

Add an APPLICATION USAGE usage to setenv()/putenv():

See exec for restrictions on changing the environment in 
multithreaded applications.

ERN 24 OPEN (was Reject )
	topic: change of flags arg to getnameinfo() from unsigned to int	

Change to Accept.
The Open Group has put an interpretation on record  against XNS5.2
recommending a change to int . Thought not to make an difference to 
applications. Recommend inclusion of the change into draft 2 of TC1.

Leave as Accept as marked. Rework text to include recommendation
noted below.

The group has worked with the ISO editors and IEEE. So recent email 
does not follow about style not being acceptable. 
Accept in principle this would be a good idea but not felt a candidate
for TC1 or an interpretation. It was agreed that  to recommend 
consideration for this approach be taken in the next revision.

  As an implementor it is felt to be flexible , some felt that having
  actual constants could be harmful
After much discussion a vote of the ORs was called.

Also add the additional note to RATIONALE in the TC1 following that
above.

Due to the problem noted here a future
revision may either add a new function to return function
pointers or the current interface may be deprecated in favor of
two new functions , one that does data pointer retrieval and 
one that does function pointer retrieval.

3. Wrapup (5 minutes)

TC1 Draft 2 is scheduled for early July, this will still be a
committee draft.

There have been some new aardvarks filed recently which are
also possible candidates for TC1. We should discuss which should
go in the hopper.
