We started to review the outstanding issues list, see the etherpad
for details. This led to responses to the following bugs:

Bug 906: Ambiguity of abort() behavior racing with sigaction OPEN

Action on Nick to raise this issue with the C committee. Does threads.h and Section 5 address it in C11/17/2x somehow?

Bug 1077: Recommend support for wide-character regcomp and regexec and/or specify multi-byte behavior  Rejected

This issue failed to get a sponsor, and is therefore rejected. If
complete wording can be specified and forwarded to a sponsor (IEEE,
ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 22, or The Open Group), it can be reconsidered in
the future.

The index is controlled by a master file with patterns of the form

We could remove the duplicates from the file, although whether this
is a big enough issue to warrant a change right now is debateable.

We will review this for a future generation of the html or maintenance
work when time permits.
