Does threads.h and Section 5 address it in C11/17/2x somehow? We continued working through the outstanding issues list: Bug 573: Please add '+' to the portable filename character set Rejected https://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=573 This was discussed in the June 9th, 2022 teleconference. In view of the potential problems that adding '+' might cause, as raised in earlier bug notes, it was decided that this bug should be rejected. Expand to get feedback from Solaris and BSD.
