ISO/IEC 9945 is developed and maintained by the Austin Common Standards
Revision Group (CSRG), a joint technical working group that brings
together the technical experts from ISO JTC1, IEEE and The Open Group.

Work continues on the revision to ISO/IEC 9945.  In the last twelve
months the working group has produced two drafts.

The draft for FCD ballot (SC22 N4217)  passed the ballot, and 
a final draft has been produced taking into account the comments on the
FCD ballot and synchronization with IEEE and The Open Group.
This document has been submitted for FDIS ballot.

As part of the synchronization with the other bodies in the Austin Group,
the document has been submitted to The Open Group for approval in late
July 2008, and is targeted for the September 2008 IEEE standards board.
