The document was approved as an Open Group Technical Standard on
July 24 2008.

Andrew will submit the document to IEEE on August 1st.

No change to the status of the ISO ballot.  Apparently the ballot is in
the queue.

The standard is unclear, concerns are being forwarded to the sponsor

We discussed mail sequences 11556 and 11559 , and although a possible
change has been put forward on the list we decided the following would
better address the issue

pthread_cond_timedwait() p1051 line 3314

Change from:
When such timeouts occur, pthread_cond_timedwait( ) shall nonetheless
release and re-acquire the mutex referenced by mutex.

To

a condition signal directed concurrently at the condition variable.


XSH ERN 246 nanosleep with argument 0 Accept as marked

The standard is clear. It is  specified to suspend for at least zero
nanoseconds.  There is no guarantee that the thread will be suspended
for any measurable interval.
No conformance distinction can be made between
implementations that return immediately versus those that return after
a period of time.
