The current outstanding action is to determine who the voting members of the SEC are. Andrew has now started six interpretations and comments are due back by January 16 2011. Interps: 309 329 343 345 347 352 Andrew agreed to take the action to email Fred Tydeman for his input on bug 346. *New General Business: Nick reported that the C1x Standard Ballot Draft is now available: http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg14/www/docs/n1539.pdf and a version with diffs (from previous working draft) is at http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg14/www/docs/n1547.pdf The C1X ballot CLOSES on 19 February 2011. We should therefore have comments due by the end of January so that Nick can get them submitted via the US. Nick suggests that we use classic aardvark format, emailed to him. He will then collate these into a single comment and forward to the US national body for inclusion in their vote. *Email reflector related discussions Discussions related to posix_spawn led into a discussion on adding atomic interfaces. Eric agreed to draft a proposal for discussion on changes to the existing close() and dup2() APPLICATION USAGE sections addressing why it is dangerous to close random file descriptors.
