Andrew will update the calendars and ensure he highlights the change. - ISO Balloting news Andrew reported that the results of the ballot at ISO have now been received and the document has been approved. Two editorial comments were received from Canada, which are included below. These should be accepted. CA- 1 Line 143 Ed Section titled "Participants" names ISO/IEC/JTC 1/SC 22/WG 15 as a participant. Since WG 15 has not existed in more than a decade, this reference needs correction. Change this reference to the parent organization ISO/IEC/JTC 1/SC 22. CA - 2 Line 148 Section titled "Participants" names ISO/IEC/JTC 1/SC 22/WG 15 as a participant. Since WG 15 has not existed in more than a decade, this reference needs correction. Change this reference to the parent organization ISO/IEC/JTC 1/SC 22. - IEEE balloting News Andrew reported that the IEEE ballot closes soon. Current status is as follows: BALLOT OPEN DATE: 30-Apr-2012 BALLOT CLOSE DATE: 15-Aug-2012 TYPE: New DRAFT #: D5 COMMENTS: 2 MUST BE SATISFIED COMMENTS: 1 RESPONSE RATE This ballot has met the 75% returned ballot requirement. 21 eligible people in this ballot group. 15 affirmative votes 0 negative votes with comments 0 negative votes without comments 1 abstention votes: (Other: 1) 16 votes received = 76% returned 6% abstention APPROVAL RATE The 75% affirmation requirement is being met. 15 affirmative votes 0 negative votes with comments 15 votes = 100% affirmative Only 5 people have not returned a ballot. The intention is to flag the changes for Issue 8 and also to process this as "defect case" interpretation so that Issue 7 implementations can make symbols visible in .
