Bug #948: Collation issues in XBD (changes for Issue 8) Accepted http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=948 Bug #949: The timezone name might be non-unique. Rejected http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=949 The timezone names are set by local conventions and government authorities and are not unique. The POSIX standards cannot override government and local conventions. Applications that want to use UTC as their timezone can invoke utilities with TZ=UTC0. If an application wants to use something like TZ=6 to specify the local name in a manner different from local conventions, that application needs to also understand local conventions for when daylight savings time applies. #953: Alias expansion is under-specified OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=953 We will continue this on the next call. Next Steps ---------- The next call is on February 11, 2016 (a Thursday) Calls are anchored on US time. (8am Pacific) This call will be for the regular 90 minutes. http://austingroupbugs.net An IRC channel will be available for the meeting irc://irc.freenode.net/austingroupbugs An etherpad is usually up for the meeting, with a URL using the date format as below: http://posix@posix.rhansen.org:9001/p/201x-mm-dd password=2115756#
