The IEEE public review closed on April 23rd. There were no comments 
received. The editors are now preparing for the recirculation
at IEEE. The TC document is ready, we are updating the merged draft,
with the main change being the single quote character changes
which have been identified and are now being merged.

Bug #249: Add standard support for $'...' in shell   Reopened

Richard has an action to propose new wording to discuss in a future telecon.

Bug 974: several issues with awk's ARGC/ARGV OPEN

The entire call was spent discussing bug 974 and draft changes
were captured in the etherpad.  A remaining issue is whether to reword
the text that says arguments in ARGV[] can be "modified" as it is
unclear whether this allows deletion.

We will continue on this item on the next call.
