Andrew noted that he had made the editorial correction raised on
the reflector to the online html edition  for the c99 man page.

Bug 1254: "asynchronous list" description uses "command" instead of "AND-OR list" OPEN

Bug 1234: in most shells, backslash doesn't have two meaning wrt pattern matching         OPEN

A few other bugs have been impacted due to this.

Bug 985 has had the interpretation revised and restarted.

Bug 247: Add nullglob (null globbing) support to shell's "set" and glob()

The discussion for this bug is documented on the bug1234 etherpad
page, as is related.

Note that when bug 247 is resolved it will need to be worded as
"After applying bug 1234, make the following changes ..." . It will
be issue 8 changes, and so does not affect what should go in bug
1234 (which will be TC3).
