Bug 1216 - Eric to ask if The Open Group is willing to sponsor this interface, referencing bug note 4478. * Current Business Bug 1111: pthread_rwlock_rdlock requirements if TPS is supported are under-specified, error-prone for users, and inefficient http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1111 We discussed whether to reopen this bug, based on Eric's bugnote 4545. The consensus was not to reopen the bug. Action: Eric to work with glibc maintainers to propose alternative ways to resolve the issue raised in bugnote 4545, such as new optional thread scheduling policies or a way for the implementation to indicate that TPS interfaces are provided but the policy semantics are not followed. (Partially completed during the call.) Bug 1294: POSIX recognizes the existence of dynamically loadable, executable object files, but provides no way of producing them.
