October 2020 Event - Summary

Agile EA, Digital Transformation and Open Digital Standards

October 26 - 29, 2020  Online Event

Event Summary

Business and technology leaders are facing a transition from Digitization to Digital - the radical, fundamental change towards becoming a digital enterprise. Traditional approaches and industry frameworks for IT management are being challenged both by new technologies that enable dramatically lower barriers to digital value delivery, and by new practices like agile product management that make use of this technology to give a market edge. Executives, managers, and practitioners are looking for practices that help them make sense of the landscape they find in organizations re-orienting themselves to deliver digital products and services - to become a "Digital-First" organization.
The Open Group Digital-First October 2020 virtual event will consider the need to create a more agile, collaborative, and end-to-end value stream view of work, in order for a business to enable a successful transformation to a Digital-First enterprise. This transformation to Digital-First requires direction and control, and the implementation of digital standards to address business, management, operational and governance issues is critical to the success of a Digital-First enterprise.
Our October event will focus upon some of these critical digital standards that are designed to enable and support the smooth transition to Digital-First. The event will also look at the work being carried out to develop an open, secure and interoperable process control architecture. - please join us!

The Digital-First virtual event will be free access to all registered attendees. For registration please refer to the 'Registration' tab.
