Objective
The OSDU Forum Members Amsterdam Spring meeting was held May 19 through May 23, 2025. The agenda for the meeting was designed to provide a venue for Energy Operator and Supplier presentations focused on the use and application of the OSDU Data platform in their companies. In addition to the presentations, there was an industry day devoted to explaining the finer points of the OSDU Data Platform and also a series of OSDU Forum member-only Working Group sessions, where the members developing the software capabilities and associated standards for the OSDU Forum worked collaboratively to continue the refinement of their respective work products. The OSDU Forum also hosted:
- The Mining Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings, where the mining community is leveraging existing OSDU Forum data models and schemas where applicable and creating new ones where needed to promote efficient data management and interoperability within the mining community
- The Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) harmonization Working Group meetings, which facilitated the creation and common understanding of data models, architecture, and JavaScript™ Object Notation (JSON) schemas used by the members of the OSDU Forum, the Energistics Consortium, and the Open Footprint® Forum
