    Q. How long have you been involved with The Open Group?

My journey with The Open Group began in 2011, when I attended my first Enterprise Architecture course that enabled my TOGAF 9 certification —a formative experience that sparked my passion for both The Open Group and The TOGAF® Standard, a standard of The Open Group. Ever since, I have been an enthusiastic promoter of their principles and frameworks. At Bruhati, we are proud to champion The Open Group and the TOGAF Standard, actively advocating for their adoption within our networks. Our collaboration with The Open Group has deepened since late 2023, as we continue to promote best practices and foster engagement across the industry.

    Q. What do you do, and how long have you been doing it?

As one of the EA Directors at Bruhati, my responsibilities centre on supporting our core accounts—whether they are exploring enterprise architecture for the first time and seeking to unlock its benefits through an initial implementation, or are established practitioners aiming to elevate their EA maturity.

This role is both challenging and profoundly rewarding, as it calls for a blend of business acumen, a deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture across diverse industries and regions, and strong leadership. Guiding organisations on their transformation journey, I am committed to helping them translate strategic intent into practical outcomes and measurable value.

    Q. Why did your organization become a Member of The Open Group Architecture Forum and what does/will your involvement look like?

In recognition of our commitment to excellence, Bruhati was honoured with a TOGAF Implementation Award in 2024 for our work implementing Enterprise Architecture aligned with TOGAF at a leading insurance company in Saudi Arabia. This accolade has strengthened our resolve and deepened our partnership with The Open Group. Since then, we have actively collaborated on several initiatives, including supporting the “Initiate” programme that brings Enterprise Architecture knowledge to universities and fostering a broader adoption of EA practices. We are dedicated to promoting Enterprise Architecture maturity across both our extensive private and public sector client base, working to expand and invigorate the global EA community. To further this mission, in 2025 we joined as active Member and assigned experienced EA Leads to key Architecture Forum workgroups, championing the advancement of Agile Architecture, AI for EA, the development of government frameworks, and digital transformation.

    Q. How has/will membership in The Open Group benefit you, your organization, and the industry at large?

Membership in The Open Group has profoundly benefited Bruhati on multiple levels. For our team, it has provided unparalleled access to a global network of thought leaders, collaborative Forums, and the very latest developments in Enterprise Architecture. This engagement has not only sharpened our technical expertise, but also fostered an environment where innovation thrives—allowing us to deliver even greater value to our clients across diverse sectors.

For Bruhati as an organization, active participation in The Open Group has been a catalyst for growth and excellence. It has enabled us to benchmark against global best practices, contribute to the evolution of frameworks like The Open Group TOGAF Standard, and accelerate the professional development of our practitioners. The opportunity to be part of pioneering workgroups—spanning Agile Architecture, AI for EA, and digital transformation—keeps us at the forefront of industry change, reinforcing our leadership in the field.

At the industry level, our membership furthers the wider adoption of open standards and promotes greater consistency, interoperability, and agility in enterprise architecture practices. Q. What are your hobbies?

Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about exploring the world in hands-on, adventurous ways. I find great satisfaction in metal detecting and foraging in nature, activities that let me connect deeply with the environment while unearthing its hidden treasures. I also enjoy collecting fossils, which appeals to my curiosity about the distant past. To stay active and recharge, I spend time hiking and cycling—often with my family, as we love our days out together discovering new places and making lasting memories.

Right now, I’m reading "Nexus" by Yuval Noah Harari. The book looks at how different ideas, cultures, and technologies come together to shape human history. Harari explains how these connections have changed society over time and asks us to think about how they influence our lives and responsibilities today.
