    Q. How long have you been involved with The Open Group?

    I have been familiar with The Open Group and its standards and certifications since I joined IBM Switzerland in 2007. I am TOGAF-certified and use the framework successfully in my daily work.

     

    Q. What do you do, and how long have you been doing it?

    I have been fascinated by technology and modern IT concepts for as long as I can remember. Today, I bring my diverse experience from large, international projects, but also from an SME environment, to IT organizations and companies as a consultant. I accompany them from A to Z on their path to digital transformation, introduce agile forms of working, support them with technological challenges and shape the IT landscapes of the future. I have a background in software engineering and have spent several years designing, developing and successfully implementing complex IT systems.

     

    Q. Why did your organization become a Member of The Open Group Architecture Forum and what does/will your involvement look like?

    IT Architecture is a key competence for our company. We advise on this with a focus and have set ourselves the goal of developing the topic and being the experts for our customers. The Open Group is an organization that helps us to achieve this goal. It connects us with like-minded people and companies. It has a strong architecture framework that we actively use and deploy with our customers. We would like to make a contribution to its further development and that is why we have decided to become a Member.

     

    Q. How has/will membership in The Open Group benefit you, your organization, and the industry at large?

    We are convinced of a strong network. General standards and company networks help our customers to make the right decisions for the future. The Open Group offers us such a network in which we will participate and from which we want to adopt and further develop the standards. The Open Group connects all companies, regardless of size, with the standards that are needed so that the IT landscapes of the future can be successfully planned and developed.

     

    Q. Why is it important for other organizations to join The Open Group?

    The Open Group connects companies and provides a platform for IT Architecture and related topics. It offers a network of like-minded people, develops methods, frameworks, training courses, etc. that help to avoid constantly reinventing the wheel.

    Jogging, reading, traveling
