    New Member.  Brandywine Communications joined The Open Group in July 2024.

    Regional Sales and Business Development for 5+ years.

     

    Q. Why did your organization become a Member of The Open Group SOSA Consortium, and what does/will your involvement look like?

    Brandywine Communications is a leader in synchronizing products and systems.  Our company manufactures ultra-precise time & frequency solutions for the Aerospace & Defense, Security, Communications, Industrial and Infrastructure markets with the goal of delivering high performance and precision timing in the harshest of conditions to advance the human condition and protect our way of life.

    Our involvement with The Open Group will allow us to partner with others in the industry to ensure synchronization is properly and accurately provided to all systems within the open architecture as it is critical to operational success.

     

    Q. How has/will membership in The Open Group benefit you, your organization, and the industry at large?

    Brandywine Communications has developed a 3U VPX Radial Clock Card for precision timing capabilities in support of SOSA APNT requirements for US Military & Defense applications.  This solution allows for the “T” (Timing) portion of APNT (Assured Position, Navigation and Timing) to stay in alignment with mission requirements.

     

    Q. Why is it important for other organizations to join The Open Group?

    With the SOSA approach being to establish guidelines and standards for future military applications, it is essential for manufacturers of equipment within this market space to join and get an understanding of where industry trends are moving towards and how they can best be supported through current and next generation product development.
