There is a mixture of tenses in this paragraph.
        
Action:
Change the occurrences of "are" -> "were" , and
"have" -> "had" .

2  Sect B.2 OBJECTION.  page 19, lines 40-43:

Problem:
I object to the wording used in this paragraph.

This is only limited to UNIX systems that use a 32-bit signed
time_t . As such its not applicable to all UNIX systems, and
not limited only to UNIX systems.
Other systems using a 32-bit signed time_t have similar problems,
the exact problem date being determined when their time epoch
starts.
        

Action:

Replace lines 40-43 with the following:

"Many systems which use a 32-bit signed representation for time in
seconds  may encounter problems as soon as the year 2038. Year 2038 has been
an issue long before the Year 2000 gained prominent attention and
any efforts to resolve this are outside the scope of this effort."

I am familiar with the unresolved objection from Donald W. Cragun
Objection 13 and would object if the changes in the further response
from the balloter were not included in this standard.

Action:

This objection can be resolved by resolving the unresolved
objection from Donald W. Cragun.
