Henry Franken, Forum Chair and Iver Band, Forum Vice-Chair gave a brief introduction to the ArchiMate Standard, positioning ArchiMate with respect to other important Enterprise Architecture standards such as the TOGAF Standard. They provided statistics of its growth and adoption, and provided an overview of the practical benefits from use of the ArchiMate Standard. They also gave pointers to the conference tracks and panel sessions in which the ArchiMate Standard will be featured.
