Objective of Meeting

The objective of the meeting was to identify opportunities for harmonization and alignment between the TOGAF, ArchiMate, and IT4IT standards and to define deliverables and agree on approach/next steps to work on identified opportunities and gaps.

Summary

  • Introduction & welcome (discussion of purpose, background, scope, and expected outcome of this session)
  • Overview of current concepts/meta models (the IT4IT, TOGAF, ArchiMate, and O-BA standards)
  • High-level positioning of the TOGAF, ArchiMate, and IT4IT standards (discussion of how these standards/practices should be positioned)
  • Identify gaps/issues and opportunities for harmonization and further alignment
  • Discuss and agree on the key topics for harmonization (and identify benefits) and proposed deliverables
  • Agree on prioritization, approach, high-level plan, and involved stakeholders/participants
  • Closure and feedback/review/actions definition

Outputs

  • Main areas in which the work should start
  • Structure for the teams that will be involved in the delivery and the next steps to take to start the activity
  • Detailed meeting minutes and list of consent items and open actions to support the activity

Next Steps

  • Organize the kick-off meeting for the working team and set the platform to facilitate the process
  • Follow up on the actions defined in the meeting and provide the support for the groups to start the work
