Singapore 2018: Proceedings – DPWG

Digital Practitioners Work Group

Objective of Meeting

The Digital Practitioners Work Group (DPWG) held members-only meeting on Wednesday. The focus of the meeting was to review activities of the Agile Architecture Framework (AAF) Governing Board Work Group and to coordinate activities with the DPWG and other Forums, particularly on the topic of interlock between the AAF work and the Digital Practitioners Body of Knowledge™ currently under development in the DPWG.

Members of the DPWG also contributed to the “Architecting with New Technology” Plenary track on Tuesday, covering the key concepts guiding the development of the AAF and its use within digital-first organizations.

Summary

Members discussed the timeline for AAF development, and plans on how to share information and coordinate activity, particularly with the Architecture Forum and the DPWG.

Outputs

No materials were approved at this meeting; outputs include the presentations in the Tuesday Plenary track and the Governing Board presentation.

Next Steps

Members and staff will establish monthly coordination meetings for AAF and DPWG, and will hold a call to coordinate content between the AAF and the DPBoK™. Members will hold a face-to-face meeting in Scottsdale to make further progress on the DPBoK and to set a publication timeline.
