Jason York is a Senior Associate at Strategic Ventures Consulting Group
supporting the U.S. Army Capability Program Executive (CPE) Aviation,
formerly Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation. He currently serves as
the SOSA BWG Enterprise Guidance Subcommittee Lead and active
participant in the SOSA Steering Committee with over fifteen years of
experience supporting consensus-based, open standards. Jason successfully
served multiple terms as the FACE BWG Chair bringing new ideas, focused
execution, and a drive to align with, develop, and help shape acquisition
guidance related to Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA).
Jason contributed content to the recently released Assistant Secretary of the
Army Acquisition Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)) MOSA
Implementation Guide (MIG) v2.1 and led the update of the latest PEO
Aviation MIG. He is a principal author of the Open Systems Management
Plan (OSMP) Data Item Description (DID) [DI-MGMT-82099], FACE
Contract Guide, FACE Business Guide, and PEO Missiles & Space
Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Software Acquisition
Management Plan (SWAMP). Jason holds a Master of Science degree in
Mathematics/Computer Science from the University of Alabama in
Huntsville (UAH).
