• Head I-10 East
toward New Orleans Business District and Slidell.
• Exit Superdome/Poydras
Street (Exit 234B).
• Proceed down
ramp and continue straight for 8 blocks, staying in left
hand lane.
• Turn left
onto Camp Street and continue 4 blocks to Canal Street (a
big 2-way Boulevard).
• Cross
over Canal Street which turns into Chartres Street
(in the French Quarter).
• Go 2 blocks
on Chartres St and turn left on Bienville Street.
• Halfway
down the street, you will see the garage entrance
for Hotel Monteleone on the left.
Taxicabs: A cab ride costs $28.00 from the
airport to the Central Business District (CBD) for one or two
persons and $12.00 (per passenger) for three or more passengers.
Pick-up is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area.
There may be an additional charge for extra baggage.
Airport Shuttle: Shuttle service is available
from the airport to the hotels in the Central Business District
(CBD) for $13.00 (per person, one-way), $26.00 (per person, round-trip),
or $24.00 (per person, round-trip for two or more people when
purchased at the airport). Three bags per person. Call 1-866-596-2699

Advance reservations are required 48 hours prior to travel for
all ADA accessible transfers. Please call well enough in advance
for the specially-equipped shuttle to be reserved. For group
reservations of 10 or more people please dial 1-888-432-7651.
Ticket booths are located on the lower level in the baggage claim
area.
Airport Limousine Service: Non Scheduled walk
up limousine and sedan service available from the airport to
the Central Business District (CBD) and the French Quarter. The
rate is $35.00 for one or two people and $10.00 per additional
passenger for up to 8 passengers (total vehicle capacity). Limousine
information desks are located on the lower level baggage claim
areas.
Amtrak: Union Station is located at 1001 Loyola
Avenue. Amtrak does not provide transportation to or from the
airport. Passengers should use limousine, public bus, or taxi
service to reach the station.
Coastliner/Mississippi Coast Service: Coastliner
provides shuttle service to the Gulf Coast and many other places
along the route. There are nine trips daily, beginning at 8:00
a.m. and ending at 11:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the
Coastliner booth located on the lower level next to U.S. Customs.
Prices vary according to the passenger's final destination. Call

Greyhound: Pick-up for the Greyhound Bus is
located on the upper level outside Entrance #7. For information
fares and scheduling, call (504) 525-9371. Tickets are available
from the driver.
Jefferson Transit: A ride on this public bus
costs $1.50 per person which includes one transfer good from
any Jefferson Transit bus. This bus picks up outside Entrance
#7 on the upper level and runs every 15-20 minutes on weekdays
and every 30 minutes on weekends. For more information, contact

La Shuttle Express: Provides ground transportation
between the airport and Baton Rouge, LA. Service provided by
advance reservation only. Prices start from $70 one way and roundtrip

Automobile Rental: There are 7 rental agencies
with offices on the lower level of the airport. Check with each
company for rates.

Q. Do
you have a shuttle from/to the airport?
A. The hotel does
not have a complimentary dedicated airport shuttle. However,
you may catch the Airport Shuttle located on the ground level
(baggage claim) area of Louis Armstrong International Airport
for transportation to the hotel. The current charge is $13.00
US per person. Or you may take a taxi directly to the hotel.
Rates from the airport are $28.00 for 1-2 people traveling together
or $12.00 per person for 3 or more people.
Taxi cabs are also available at a flat rate of $28.00 for up
to 3 persons and $12.00 per person after 3.
Q. We will be
driving to the hotel. Can we expect room in your garage and is
there a charge for parking?
A.If you are planning
to drive or rent a vehicle, the Hotel Monteleone offers valet
parking for a daily fee, $22.00 for cars & small SUVs. Due
to space restrictions, we have limited parking availability for
large SUVs, trucks & vans (parking is $28.00 per day). We
cannot accommodate any vehicle over the following specifications:
76'5" H, 79"W, 197" Long or with a wheelbase of
over 116". In addition, we cannot accommodate full-size
vans or trucks with extended cabs. Parking is at a premium in
the French Quarter and it is on a first come first serve basis.

tours. Grayline Tours also has an on-site tour desk in the lobby
of the Hotel Monteleone which is open 8:00am-4:00pm, 7 days per
week.
Sightseeing options include the historic garden district tour,
french quarter tour, cemetery/gris-gris tour, walking night tour,
and off-the-beaten path tours.

a pool or fitness center at the hotel?
A. Yes, the hotel
has a heated rooftop pool with stunning views of the French Quarter
and the city. In the fitness center you can ride an exercise
bike as you watch the mighty Mississippi stream lazily by. Other
features of our Fitness Center include: nautilus-style equipment,
lifecycles, treadmills and elliptical trainers, complimentary
fruit and use of the jukebox
Q. Do you have
a spa at the hotel?
A. Aria, our private
spa, opens this fall. The newest dimension of the Hotel Monteleone
experience promises to be a world class facility offering a full
range of spa services, including massage therapy, facials and
extensive skin and cleansing treatments.
The Spa will be open 7 days per week, 9am till 8pm with the
exception of Sunday 9am till 4pm.
In the meantime, please contact the Concierge to make a rejuvenating
spa appointment at Shine, a full-service day spa located two
blocks from the hotel.
